This Privacy Policy explains how THETRUETRADE (“THETRUETRADE”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, processes, stores, shares, protects, and manages Personal Data in connection with the use of the Platform, including THETRUETRADE.IO APIs, support systems, trading infrastructure, perpetual futures markets, and related services.

The Platform provides both custodial account-based trading infrastructure (CEX mode) and non-custodial wallet-based trading infrastructure (DEX/Web3 mode) for perpetual futures trading and related digital asset services.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users interacting with the Platform, whether through wallet connection, email authentication, Google login, Telegram login, API usage, or other supported systems.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

SECTION 2 — PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

Depending on how you interact with the Platform, THETRUETRADE may collect:

  • Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, blockchain activity, and related on-chain records;
  • Email addresses, authentication credentials, and account profile information;
  • Google or Telegram authentication data;
  • Device information, browser type, IP address, language settings, operating system, and session identifiers;
  • Trading activity including orders, positions, leverage usage, realized and unrealized PnL, transfers, deposits, and withdrawals;
  • Referral program participation, commission records, and rewards activity;
  • API request logs, rate-limit information, and security monitoring records;
  • Customer support communications and dispute-resolution records;
  • Cookies, analytics information, and platform interaction data.

THETRUETRADE does not collect private keys, wallet seed phrases, or direct custody credentials for non-custodial wallet infrastructure.

KYC & Identity Verification

If identity verification (“KYC”) becomes required or is voluntarily completed by Users, TTT may collect and process identity verification information, including:

  • Government-issued identification documents;
  • Selfies or facial verification images;
  • Proof of address documents;
  • Date of birth;
  • Nationality;
  • Compliance screening results;
  • Source-of-funds or related compliance information where required.

KYC verification may be conducted directly by TTT or through authorized third-party identity verification providers and compliance partners.

Such providers may process Personal Data for:

  • identity verification;
  • fraud prevention;
  • sanctions screening;
  • AML/CFT compliance;
  • risk assessment;
  • regulatory obligations.

TTT may share required Personal Data with third-party KYC and compliance providers, including identity verification vendors, fraud-prevention systems, blockchain analytics providers, and sanctions screening services, subject to applicable privacy and data protection obligations.

KYC-related data may be retained for periods required under applicable law, regulatory obligations, AML/CFT requirements, dispute resolution, and compliance enforcement.

SECTION 3 — HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

THETRUETRADE processes Personal Data for purposes including:

  • Account creation and authentication;
  • Trade execution and perpetual futures market operations;
  • Deposit, withdrawal, and transfer processing;
  • Fraud prevention, sanctions screening, and AML/CFT compliance;
  • Risk management, liquidation systems, and security monitoring;
  • Referral, rewards, and bonus system operations;
  • Platform analytics, infrastructure optimization, and feature development;
  • Customer support, dispute handling, and communication;
  • Legal compliance, regulatory obligations, and enforcement of Platform Terms.

THETRUETRADE does not sell or rent Personal Data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

SECTION 4 — BLOCKCHAIN & WEB3 PRIVACY

Blockchain transactions are public and irreversible by design.

Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, timestamps, trading activity, and related blockchain records may remain permanently visible on supported blockchain networks. THETRUETRADE cannot alter, delete, or restrict publicly available blockchain records.

Users should understand that blockchain-based systems may allow transaction activity to be analyzed or linked through public blockchain data.

Where required by applicable law, THETRUETRADE processes Personal Data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • Contract performance;
  • Legitimate interests;
  • Legal obligations;
  • User consent;
  • Fraud prevention and security interests.

Legitimate interests may include platform security, fraud detection, infrastructure stability, analytics, enforcement of Platform rules, and prevention of abusive or illegal activity.

THETRUETRADE operates globally. Personal Data may be processed or stored in jurisdictions outside your country of residence.

Blockchain records may remain permanently visible due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology.

  • Secure communication protocols;

  • Security reviews and infrastructure controls;
  • Authentication and account-protection systems.

No internet-based or blockchain-based system can guarantee absolute security.

Users remain responsible for securing wallets, devices, passwords, authentication methods, and private credentials.

SECTION 10 — COOKIES & ANALYTICS

THETRUETRADE may use cookies, local storage, analytics technologies, and related tools to:

  • Maintain platform sessions and authentication;
  • Remember user preferences;
  • Improve platform functionality and performance;
  • Analyze platform usage and behavior;
  • Detect fraud and abusive activity.

Users may manage cookies through browser settings, where applicable.

SECTION 11 — USER RIGHTS

Subject to applicable law, users may have rights, including:

  • Access to Personal Data;
  • Correction of inaccurate data;
  • Deletion of eligible off-chain data;

Blockchain-based records generally cannot be modified or deleted due to the immutable nature of distributed ledger systems.

SECTION 12 — CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Platform is not intended for individuals under eighteen (18) years of age.

THETRUETRADE does not knowingly collect Personal Data from minors.

SECTION 13 — COMPLIANCE & AML

THETRUETRADE may use blockchain analytics, sanctions screening tools, fraud-detection systems, and compliance monitoring infrastructure to identify suspicious activity and comply with applicable AML/CFT obligations.

THETRUETRADE reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or investigate accounts where required for legal, regulatory, or security reasons.

SECTION 14 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform may integrate or interact with third-party providers, including wallet connection services, blockchain infrastructure providers, analytics systems, charting providers, security systems, cloud infrastructure, and communication tools.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. THETRUETRADE is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

SECTION 15 — POLICY UPDATES

THETRUETRADE reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time.

Updated versions will be published on the Platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
